The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 26, 2021, features Britt and Sam pooling their resources, Carly on the warpath, and an abundance of mama drama.
After learning that Jason (Steve Burton) has been arrested for Franco’s (Roger Howarth) murder, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) bluffed her way into the PCPD holding cells and debated her next move with her partner-in-crime.
Sam (Kelly Monaco), who’d also been clued in on the arrest, arrived for her own visit with Jason, only to catch him holding Britt’s hand. Talk about awkward!
Later, the women met at the hospital and decided to work together to prove that Peter (Wes Ramsey) is responsible for the crime that Jason stands accused of committing. For Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) sake. Getting Jason, whom they’re both totally not crushing on, off the hook will just be a bonus.
Brando (Johnny Wactor) outed Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) as Jason’s accuser at the first available opportunity, and the information was relayed to Carly (Laura Wright)…who just so happened to be in the midst of a subtext-filled confrontation with Cyrus (Jeff Kober).
With his secret weapon outed, Cyrus stepped up his game and offered up a trade. Carly would ensure the return of his mother, and he would, in turn, convince Gladys that she didn’t see what she lied about seeing in the first place. Carly was all for jumping on the quid pro quo, but Jason wasn’t as enthused.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) paid what she thought would be one last visit to The Tan-o. Instead, “Mike” (Maurice Benard) roped her into staying a few more days, and he even managed to convince her to give Nixon Falls a feature story in an upcoming issue of Crimson. After all, nothing will balance the cosmic scales like breathing life into dying small-town America. And it’s not like there’s any other pressing business…
Laura (Genie Francis) treated Martin (Michael E. Knight) to lunch in order to make up for missing his birthday. They’re really going to have to start learning about each other’s lives – such faux pas are terribly embarrassing!
Martin copped to three failed marriages and an inability to get to the heart of the problem; Laura admitted that she had been a handful in her youth. Both agreed that Martin deserved a celebratory cake, and neither was particularly pleased to see party pooper, Cyrus. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
