The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, December 15, 2020, features Finn playing happy family, Laura and Curtis going undercover, a fed-up Jordan seeking answers, and Martin and Valentin deciding to let bygones be bygones.
First, Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) attempted to dissuade Violet (Jophielle Love) from her excitement over Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) proposed double wedding. Then, the ineffectual couple had to contend with gate crashers Chase (Josh Swickard) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison). Luckily, Gregory came bearing a gift so his presence was quickly forgiven.
Talk soon turned to Gregory and Jackie’s (Kim Delaney) wedding, and the tension in the room noticeably increased. Finn saved the day with a suggestion that Violet should stuff her grandfather and uncle full of homemade cookies and milk.
Meanwhile, he and Anna discussed Gregory and Jackie’s disintegrating marriage, and Anna insisted that her betrothed should offer his father some comfort. Later, Finn personally extended Gregory an invitation to his and Anna’s wedding. Baby steps, but steps nonetheless.
Over in chilly Vermont, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Laura (Genie Francis) deduced that they wouldn’t be able to easily infiltrate the care home housing Florence Grey. So, the intrepid duo initiated Plan B.
Curtis assumed the guise of Dr. Ashford, and Laura hopped into a wheelchair and pretended that she had lapsed back into her mid-2000s catatonia. With a little help behind the scenes from Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), Laura was successfully admitted as a patient…but the incoming injection courtesy of her new doctor didn’t fill the mayor with much confidence.
Back in Port Charles, a huffy Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) tracked down Carly (Laura Wright) and demanded a face-to-face with Taggert (Real Andrews). Carly did her best, “Why, whatever do you mean,” shtick, but Jordan told her to stifle. Then she revealed that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Cameron (William Lipton) were helping Trina investigate Taggert’s possible resurrection.
During her subsequent chat with Taggert, Jordan learned that not only did Julian Jerome (William deVry) know that Taggert was alive, but he’s probably the one who ratted the truth out to Cyrus (Jeff Kober).
Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) kissed and made up and returned to their positions as attorney and client. All seemed to be forgiven and forgotten, including Martin’s familial connection to Cyrus. The General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
