The General Hospital recap for Thursday, September 3, 2020, features Maxie and Peter getting some good news, Anna getting a blast from the past, and Brando learning the error of his ways.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Expectant parents Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) delighted in getting their first glimpse of Baby August. (Or Baby Jones, we’re not exactly sure who’s going to get naming rights here.)

Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro) assured them that their little one was developing properly and a quick listen to the fetal heartbeat capped the appointment. The sonogram pic also made it look as if Maxie might give birth any day now.

Echos From The Past

Alex’s (Finola Hughes) phone call to Anna (Finola Hughes) was full of salutations, congratulations, and a plea to be allowed to return home. Home to her family. Because Alex has always been all about family.

Anna was certain that there was more to the story – because there always is with Alex. But since she isn’t a mind reader, Anna decided that her best course of action was to join her errant twin in Berlin and figure out exactly what she was up to. Sayonara Finn (Michael Easton)! That wedding is just gonna have to wait.

Traveling In Style

They may be headed for heartache, but Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) are going to arrive in style. It was first-class accommodations on the flight to Geneva and the pair whittled away their travel time by discussing their fears.

Robert’s worried about saying a proper goodbye to Holly (Emma Samms). Olivia’s concerned that Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) will reject her attempts at reconciliation. Whatever the outcome, they promise to be there for one another.

Prying Eyes

While Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) played nice with Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Jason (Steve Burton) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) set about proving whether Brando (Johnny Wactor) was as trustworthy as he appears.

To that end, they conspired to place a security camera at the man’s garage – and they wound up filming him being brutally assaulted by two of Renault’s goons. Apparently, Brando should have taken the mobster up in his offer to get him out of that jam with the police. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
