The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 29, 2021, features Cyrus being his usual manipulative and evil self, preparations getting underway for Jason’s escape, and Josslyn proving to be more and more like her mother than anyone dared fear.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Minutes after Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) assured her that they had nothing to fear from Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Ava (Maura West) opened her door to the villain in question and was forced to endure a conversation full of innuendo and veiled threats.
Chief among them was one leveled at Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola)….and everyone knows how cuckoo bananas Ava can get when it comes to her children’s safety.
If You Can’t Trust Your Kids…
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and her mother have a lot in common. They both think they know best; they both refuse to take anyone else’s advice; and when something inevitably goes wrong, it’s someone else’s fault entirely.
So, it should come as no surprise that Joss didn’t listen to her doctor’s advice and instead attempted to play volleyball. And when she further injured herself, it was clearly Portia’s (Brook Kerr) fault…somehow. Joss will get back to you with the details.
And now that she risks permanently damaging her ankle, what’s Joss to do with her enforced downtime? Why, go on an unsanctioned road trip with Trina (Sydney Mikayla) to pick up Jax (Ingo Rademacher) in Nixon Falls, of course.
Making Tracks
The time for Jason’s (Steve Burton) escape from GH is fast approaching. First, a visit with Danny (Porter Fasullo). Then, a distraction for Cyrus in the guise of a peacemaking Laura (Genie Francis). Gosh, the lengths this woman is willing to go!
The one fly in the ointment? Cyrus isn’t a stupid man. Whiny? Absolutely! But he knows when a plot is being hatched. Heck, he’s the master plotter. So he’s got Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) number. The question is, what’s he planning on doing about it?
Love Blooms
Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Scotty (Kin Shriner) are all kinds of adorable, and it’s grating on Britt’s nerves. Seeing her mother so saccharine is actually making Britt yearn for the good old days when Liesl was obsessed with Faison. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
