The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 22, 2020, features Nikolas confessing an inconvenient truth, Ava taking advantage of the situation, Nina mourning Nelle, and Valentin making waves.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Despite his best efforts to convince Ava (Maura West) of his sincerity, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) realized he really wasn’t getting anywhere. His bride was too consumed with the knowledge that he slipped up and kissed Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and between that and Ryan’s (Jon Lindstrom) ultimatum, she was unable to fully accept his heartfelt admission.
Nikolas insisted that he would continue to utter his desire for her but Ava insisted that actions speak louder than words. When Nikolas begged her to reveal what it would take for her to believe him, Ava pressed him for a divorce.
Dreamscapes
Corpses and freshly-harvested kidneys, oh my! Carly (Laura Wright) has certainly had her head full of grizzly images as of late. And to top it all off, she’s plagued by the nagging suspicion that there’s something she’s supposed to uncover that only Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had the answer to.
Jason (Steve Burton) told her to let sleeping dogs lie, but Carly decided to press on. Because Carly never listens to sense when it’s made.
Nelle Benson Archer Jerome, R.I.P
While Nina (Cynthia Watros) oversaw Nelle’s sparsely attended burial – thanks for showing up Chase (Josh Swickard) – Jax (Ingo Rademacher) spent an uncomfortable few minutes with Valentin.
Ms. Reeves’s ex informed her new beau that he wasn’t pleased with Nina’s continued search for her child. Jax responded with tough cookies. Then, Valentin insinuated that Jax was not and would never be over Carly.
And to top off the confrontation, Valentin attempted to learn whether or not there was a secret that Jax was hiding from Nina. Jax said no…but that was, of course, a lie. And Valentin saw right through him. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
