The General Hospital recap for Friday, November 6, 2020, features Ava making quite the discovery, Sam giving Alexis an ultimatum, and Alex’s escape plan going awry.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Julian (William deVry) joined Ava (Maura West) at GH, and learned, much to his consternation, that Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was still alive. Luckily, due to the extent of his injuries, there’s a substantial chance that Ryan will never recover. That’s music to Julian’s ears. But Ava can tell that there’s something else troubling her brother.

Julian attempted to side-step her questions. Then he skipped over the deal he made with Cyrus (Jeff Kober), and instead discussed the mystery man he had tangled with at both the docks and at the bar. Thanks to the picture on Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) ‘lost’ cell phone, Ava realized that the man was Taggert (Real Andrews)!

She vacillated between happiness for Trina, disgust at the lies told to the young woman, and worry that Taggert could connect Julian and Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Julian insisted that he had nothing to worry about. Ava implored him to leave town. When the two parted, Julian was waylaid by Jason (Steve Burton) and escorted to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) house. Take note, a sister always knows best!

Hypocrisy Reigns…And Has A Point

Sam (Kelly Monaco) paid Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a visit to complain about an off-screen incident that transpired between her mother and the kids. Alexis insisted that she was doing just fine. Sam insisted that she needed to cease her drinking.

When Alexis decided to forgo the advice, Sam played hardball. Alexis was taken aback by the threat to deny her visitation to Danny and Scout, and she deftly pointed out that Jason posed far more of a danger to the children than she. But Sam remained adamant. No AA meeting, no more family game night. And since the bottle of vodka didn’t judge her so harshly, Alexis decided to stick with what she knew she was good at.

Change Of Plans

With her scheme rumbled, Alex (Finola Hughes) had to think fast. She drew a gun on Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Finn (Michael Easton), shot the latter when he failed to comply, and kidnapped the former.

Though Maxie didn’t make the most congenial hostage, Alex managed to get her to the Haunted Star where they were to await transport to a secondary location. Anna (Finola Hughes) managed to track the pair down – thanks entirely to Finn – and get the drop on her treacherous twin. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
