The General Hospital recap for Friday, November 1, 2019, features a desperate Ava, an intoxicated Cameron and Josslyn, a dropped lawsuit, and a seriously pissed off Lucas.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Upon receiving confirmation that the man standing before was indeed Nikolas (Marcus Colma) — pardon, Nikolas Mikhail Stavrosovich – Ava (Maura West) fainted into his arms. It was a reaction that took the Cassadine Prince aback. “And here I thought you’d be happy to see me.”

Later, Laura (Genie Francis) arrived at the gallery hoping to discuss Helena’s portrait but instead, she found Ava in dire straights. Ms. Jerome continually insisted that Nikolas had appeared to her but she couldn’t convince Laura that her firstborn was alive and well — the lack of hard physical evidence didn’t exactly bolster her case.

Instead, a concerned Laura insisted that Ava was spiraling and needed to seek professional treatment. Ava agreed that she needed help and allowed Laura and Julian to accompany her to Shadybrook where she checked herself in.

For the Sake of the Children

On the Haunted Star, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) tried to cover for a totally bombed Josslyn (Eden McCoy) but then Cameron (William Lipton) and his bottle of booze appeared on the scene. Busted!

Negligible chaperone Lulu (Emme Rylan) called Carly (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to inform them of the situation and both teens were picked up from the party. Josslyn was taken back to Sonny’s and made friends with the toilet while Cameron got to take a nap on a bench back at GH.

Case Dismissed

After launching a particularly vitriolic attack on Sasha (Sofia Mattson), Michael (Chad Duell), and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) — How WOULD Michael feel if 20 years from now someone cam around and lied about the child he lost? — Nina was convinced by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to drop her case against her would-be daughter.

Julian Puts A Marriage in Crisis

Having come clean to Carly and Sonny (Maurice Benard) about attending Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) parole hearing, Brad (Parry Shen was feeling on top of the world. But then Julian (William deVry) launched an assault that he hoped would end his son’s marriage.

The not-so-reformed mafioso paid a struggling actor to send a lascivious selfie to Brad’s phone that led Lucas (Ryan Carnes) to accuse his husband of cheating on him. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
