General Hospital Recap: Anna and Maxie Buy Peter’s Lies

The General Hospital recap for Monday, March 9 features many characters forming two distinct teams: pro-Peter and anti-Peter. Also, Neil and Alexis prove they aren’t the sharpest knives in the culinary drawer while Diane dishes out some tough love and bad advice.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Having already gotten an ear full from Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) over his clandestine meeting with Sam (Kelly Monaco), Jason (Steve Burton) was in no mood to hear that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) now stands accused of committing Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) crimes.

Stone Cold can’t believe that Anna (Finola Hughes) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) are so easily conned – hey, it’s almost like he’s speaking for the audience huh? When confronted, Anna dug in her heels and accused Jason of being like a dog with a bone. Pot, meet kettle!

At least Anna regained her former lodgers. After hearing about Peter’s “clearing,” Finn (Michael Easton) contritely asked if he and Violet could move back in.

The Naked City

In the Big, Bad Apple, Neil (Joe Flanigan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a spot of dinner and took turns trying to figure out who was the most to blame for their relationship turning romantic.

Afterward, they retired to their separate bedrooms before deciding that the best way to prove to the medical board that they weren’t having an intimate liaison was to go ahead and have one.

Advice

Over at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson), Diane warned Michael (Chad Duell) not to play dirty during his upcoming custody battle with Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Smearing the woman’s character – no matter how warranted – would only prejudice the judge.

Instead, she suggested that he play up his attachment to the Quartermaine family – because they are the model of domestic bliss? – and the presence he has played in Wiley’s life since birth.

Furthermore, she encouraged him to marry Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). That way he can prove that his son will have a nurturing female role model. It’s just too bad that at that exact moment, Sasha was busy confiding in Chase (Josh Swickard) her fear of becoming a mother to her lover’s instant son.

Willow and Nina: We Think It’s Called Bonding

Across town, at the Crimson office, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) begged Nina (Cynthia Watros) to pen a smear piece on Nelle but the Editor-in-Chief gently talked her round. Then, she emboldened the young woman to continue in her quest to fight for Wiley’s well being. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check our local listings for airtimes.
