General Hospital Recap: Anna Gleefully Arrests Liesl

The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 6, 2020, features Liesl being set up, Valentin and Nina getting the green light, Neil and Alexis having yet another moment, and Jordan being unbothered.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

At the PC Courthouse, a fed-up Liesl (Kathleen Gati) had little time for Anna’s (Finola Hughes) shenanigans but she was forced to stand around while Anna accused her of a multitude of sins, especially carrying on Faison’s legacy.

After she had been sorely roasted, Liesl was dragged away by WSB authorities on charges of “murder, attempted murder, and various lesser offenses.” All because her name was on a list — about the same amount of evidence linking Peter (Wes Ramsey) to the actual would-be assassin. But hey, at least Anna didn’t jump to conclusions like JaSam and Finn (Michael Easton).

Meanwhile, news of Liesl’s arrest hit Maxie (Kristen Storms) hard. She was already annoyed with Nina (Cynthia Watros) so the last thing she needed to hear was that her son’s grandmother was a possible murderess. For his part, Peter had a small (very small) pang of guilt for putting the supposed love of his life through all that trauma.

Exposition

In case anybody hasn’t been watching for the past two weeks, Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) explanation to Nina, his HR-approved girlfriend/subordinate, filled in all the gaps. The editor-in-chief practically swooned at the revelation of Nelle and Brad’s baby caper and the recent mob-related goings-on and it all made her nostalgic for her still-yet-to-be-identified daughter.

A Night At The Opera

Since soaps are all about coincidence, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Neil (Joe Flanigan) just happened to run into each other at a staging of Aida and decided that it would be a great idea to stick around and watch the tragic story of doomed lovers, together. And then return to the same hotel in the same cab. All on the night before they go before a board to argue that they don’t have a relationship.

Jordan: Bad Mom, Bad Cop

At the PCPD, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henery) soothed Molly’s (Haley Pullos) worry over TJ (Tajh Bellow) by pointing out that he had texted her following his girlfriend’s heinous decline of his marriage proposal.

And since no criminal would ever kidnap her son and simply use his phone to send said texts, Jordan dismissed her never-to-be-daughter-in-law and went about her day. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
