General Hospital Recap Highlight

Much to Finn’s (Michael Easton) chagrin, the cast-aside antidote that Anna (Finola Hughes) procured for him turned out to be worthless. Then, as if he didn’t have enough on his plate, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) decided it was a fine time to dump her plethora of crises onto her friend’s lap.

But their bad day paled in comparison to Chase’s (Josh Swickard). The poor man couldn’t even hold a cup of much-desired tea in his hand, and then he became gripped by mania, and finally succumbed to a powerful seizure.

But have no fear, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is here…to burden Maxie (Kirsten Storms) with the true extent of Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) villainy and to beg for her assistance in pacifying him.

Small Town, Big Crime Rate

While Elijah (Dan White) did his best to convince Lenny (Rif Hutton) that “Mike” (Maurice Benard) was a no-good so-and-so, the man in question made his way to the hospital where Jax (Ingo Rademacher) was being treated for his gunshot wound.

Nina (Cynthia Watros) perched herself next to her ex’s bed, alternating her prayers between, “please let Jax wake up,” and “please don’t let him remembering seeing Sonny.”

But remember seeing Sonny (Maurice Benard) Jax did. And in fact, that’s all he wanted to talk about. Good thing Nina was there to convince him that he didn’t really see what he thought he saw. After that fun little game, the two discussed how much better Port Charles was without Sonny…as if Nina needed more reason to keep the man from his family,

Mama Drama

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) narrowly avoided being caught begging her paternal grandfather to purchase a baby on her behalf. Luckily for her, the person interrupting her request was Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) – a woman who had something mighty important to get off her chest.

No, it wasn’t some deep dark personal secret. It was Maxie’s deep dark personal secret. She’s going to fake her baby’s death and send her away, just like Olivia did low those many years ago.

Color a baby-less Brook Lynn intrigued. Could step-mommy dearest tell her more? Like, some actual details would be nice. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
