The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, September 21, 2021, features Anna Devane and Valentin Cassadine’s ineptitude resulting in Peter August’s escape, Sonny Corinthos being welcomed back home with open arms, and Michael Corinthos and Willow Tait deciding to take a giant leap forward.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Rather than shoot Peter (Wes Ramsey) where he stood, Anna (Finola Hughes) stood around hemming and hawing and acting like she needed a reason to put a bullet in him.
Luckily, Peter presented her with one, when he drew his own gun…and yet, she only nicks his shoulder. Enter Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), who, despite promising to kill Peter on sight, stands around hemming and hawing – which provides Peter with the perfect opportunity to exit stage left — AKA throw himself over the falls!
GH Recap: Miracles Happen
Talk about a buzzkill. Right when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos Morgan (Laura Wright) are taking the first small step to getting naked (as in, a hand on his sleeve), in order to consummate their marriage, in strolls the ghost of husbands past.
After suitably recovering from the shock (which includes fainting), Carly began to grill Sonny (Maurice Benard) as to his whereabouts lo these many months – but he was far more interested in what has been going on in Port Charles. So, Carly and Jason offer him the abridged version of all that transpired since he took a header off that…well, bridge.
Rather than get angry about his wife and best friend going and getting themselves hitched, Sonny praised the couple for their ingenuity; just wait till he finds out that Jason murdered two of his biggest rivals! There will surely be Scooby snacks for him!
General Hospital Recap: Bad News Travels
Having been warned of Peter’s imminent arrival in Port Charles, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) made a beeline for her daughter. After ascertaining that all was well, Maxie tactfully rejected Brook Lynn’s Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) offer of housing.
Opposite this, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) warned Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) of Peter’s survival – and inadvertently tipped off Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that he was off the hook for Peter’s murder. Since all is well, Finn and Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) agreed to go on another camping trip together.
