The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, November 3, 2021, features Sonny Corinthos making promises that he might not be able to keep, Elizabeth Webber Baldwin putting her rarely used art skills to good use, Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine continuing to grate, and Austin Gatlin-Holt growing ever more suspicious.
Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has news for Sonny (Maurice Benard): Joey Novak (Patrick Zeller) is staging a coup…which is something that Sonny could have easily learned from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), seeing as how Joey went to great pains to seek her out and not so subtly threaten her. Think of all those wasted air miles. Anywhoo, big, bad, growly Sonny is back, and he intends to kick some butt and ask questions later.
However, what neither Cyrus, nor Sonny (even Carly for that matter, which is a real shock because that woman thinks she’s on top of everything) knows, is that the mystery man tailing Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and co. is either in league or in competition with the younger Novak. #SurprisePlotPoint #Didn’tSeeThatComing.
And speaking of that mysterious mystery man, everybody concerned now knows that he, TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) disappearing patient, and the man getting all up in Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) business are all one and the same. Special thanks goes to Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and her neat sketch. Maybe she really should have done something with her artistic talent instead of becoming a nurse.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) are still disagreeing over how to best deal with Leo. Therefore, in Olivia’s mind, the only reasonable thing to do is get a divorce; because that’s how rational adults deal with their issues.
Speaking of (not) so rational adults, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) have concluded that the best way to neutralize Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is to find something to blackmail her with…as if that woman has any deep dark secrets that would actually shame her. Does anybody remember how quickly she recovered from her ‘my son is dead, ha ha just kidding’ faux pas?
