The General Hospital recap for February 15-19, 2021, features Nina showing up and showing out, Sonny facing down a detractor, Curtis going solo, and so much more.
Thanks to Phyllis (Joyce Guy), Nina (Cynthia Watros) received conformation that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was indeed her daughter – and then she learned more than she bargained for when she eavesdropped on Carly (Laura Wright) and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) discussing the role Carly played in Nelle’s fatal tumble.
In response, Nina crashed Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) burial, accused Carly of allowing Nelle to die, and severely admonishing those she declared, “Carly enablers.” And they certainly knew who they were!
Officer Finchley continued to harass “Mike” especially in light of the recent burglaries plaguing the town. He attempted to extract “Mike’s” fingerprints from a coffee cup that he purloined but failed to ensure that the prints were clear enough to run.
Later, in the aftermath of The Tan-o’s ransacking, Finchley tried to get Lenny (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis on the side, but they wouldn’t hear a word said against “Mike.”
Phyllis did, however, make a case for “Mike’s” immediate vacation from the premises – lest Finchley escalate matters further. But “Mike” decided to stay. He feels safe and secure with the duo, he still owes them for their hospitality, and he’s fairly certain that his environment is conducive to eventually remembering his past.
Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) attempt to sweet talk the GH board members into fast tracking his “miracle” drug was stymied by Lesley (Denise Alexander) and Portia’s (Brook Kerr) interference, though he insisted that he’d gain the support in the long run.
After yet another tense, progress-less interaction with Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry), Curtis (Donnell Turner) decided that what he truly desired was a formal separation…and a change of employment.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) likewise declared her independence and shed her identity as both Mrs. Jason Morgan and one of the Corinthos family protectors.
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava’s (Maura West) Valentine’s Day dinner was marred by the arrival of a peculiar, insect-themed gift meant for the latter. The couple wondered who could have sent the item, and Nikolas wondered what happened to the piece of jewelry that he had actually purchased for his wife/fiancée.
Prior to leaving the house for Sonny’s funeral, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) imbibed some Dutch courage…then confessed her act to Molly (Haley Pullos). The two skipped the service, instead remained at home where Alexis defeatedly wondered whether or not to actually fight the charge leveled against her.
Jason (Steve Burton) shot Brando (Johnny Wactor) in the hopes that the injury would preclude Brando from continuing the search for Florence Grey, and thus shield him from Cyrus’s wrath.
Meanwhile, Molly and T.J.’s (Tajh Bellow) hastily-arranged commitment ceremony hit snag after snag, and it appeared that nothing, not even Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) hefty bribe to the clerk, could make the dream come true.
Jackie (Kim Delaney) told Martin (Michael E. Knight) she had a pretty good idea as to where his mother is being kept. And then she informed him that she’d be investing the claim solo. Not so fast, he declared. She’s got herself a sleuthing partner whether she likes it or not! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
