Soap Hub told you about General Hospital star Maurice Benard and his “personal secret project” in January. And now the actor has revealed a bit more about it.
Maurice Benard: A Gift For His Birthday
It was Real Andrews that called his friend’s latest endeavor a secret project when he took to Instagram and filled us in:
“I am on the set with Maurice Benard and Ian Buchanan,” Andrews shared on Instagram. “Maurice is working on a personal secret project he seems very excited about it I did a scene with Ian Buchanan playing detectives and we were all laughing our hearts out the great thing about it is I’ve never been directed by Maurice. It’s one thing to work with him but being directed by him is a whole new experience and personally, I’ve always wanted to work with on that level.

Well, Benard himself took to Twitter on Thursday to give us a hint to what’s been going on with a short trailer. Apparently, this project will make its debut on the actor’s birthday.
“Are you ready for my birthday celebration? This year I wanted to do something for my fans on my birthday. It was fun to see a lot of my friends acting outside of the box and I hope you enjoy it too. Premiering March 1. Watch trailer #1 now.”

The film is from Maurice Benard’s Birthday Productions and is called Bad Boy Stories. Expect to see lots of familiar Port Charles faces in what looks like quite a treat for fans.
