The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 10, 2020, features Sonny playing King of Port Charles, Jordan receiving some bad news, Nina letting personal feelings cloud her judgment, another person learning about Nikolas’ return, and Brad making a big ask of Willow.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Sonny (Maurice Benard) swung by Charlie’s to threaten Julian (William deVry) and call him out on his poor parenting (ha!). Later, Jason (Steve Burton) revealed to his boss that the highjacked truck was found abandoned and torched.
When Stone Cold wondered how to proceed, Sonny told him that they would wait and see. Perhaps their new enemy will make contact and attempt to negotiate a trade deal. If not, he promised to retaliate and make those responsible regret ever stepping foot on his home turf!
The Hits Just Keep On Coming
Having gotten nowhere in her interrogation of Jason over the stolen vehicle, an exasperated Jordan (Brianna Nicole Henry) was crushed when Curtis (Donnell Turner) informed her that he had uncovered the cause of her close friend’s passing — a drug overdose.
Jordan refused to accept the fact, insisting that there was no way Bob would have taken drugs, let alone enough to cause his death. After Curtis made his exit, she placed a phone call to an unknown contact and asked them to pay a visit as soon as possible.
Nina: Too Good A Deal
Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) did their utmost to convince Nina (Cynthia Watros) that partnering with a re-launched Deception would be a win-win for all parties involved.
However, Nina refused to consider the proposal when she learned that not only was Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) the brand ambassador but she was also an equity partner in the venture.
Sasha arrived on the scene and confronted Nina over letting her animosity get in the way of conducting business and her words seemed to strike a nerve. While Nina pondered the possibilities, Lucy tried to poach a clearly fed up Maxie.
Why, Hello There
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) became the latest person to learn that Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was alive. But unlike Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she was actually told the news by the latter-day Lazarus himself.
Priorities
Brad (Parry Shen) freaked upon learning that Michael (Chad Duell) had decided to forgo hiring a nanny for Wiley and instead offer his (nearly) full-time services.
Desperate to avoid such a scenario, Brad successfully lobbied for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to watch after Wiley instead. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
