On General Hospital, Robert received news that his ex-wife, Holly, was dead. Not the first time that’s happened. Holly (Emma Samms) also “died” in 1985.
And Robert (Tristan Rogers), himself, allegedly bit the dust in 1992, alongside Anna (Finola Hughes). Maybe that’s why they were both so relatively chill about the news. So is Holly really dead this time? Almost 3,000 fans told us their thoughts on the possibility:
Oh, please, 69% dismiss, this is obviously a ploy of Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) to distract Robert from exposing Peter’s many misdeeds. Holly is alive, though we wouldn’t put it past him to be holding her hostage somewhere. Robert will find her. Even if he didn’t the first time she died.
A smaller 20% of you are fervently hoping that Holly isn’t dead and that Robert does find her so that the supercouple of the 1980s can finally reunite properly. Sure, Robert and Anna have a past together, too. And they share a child even.
But Anna is currently wrapped up with Finn (Michael Easton) and his daddy drama. Robert is alone, and the other love of his life presumably is, too. Maybe hearing that she’s died (again) will remind Robert of his true feelings.
And there’s the 11% of the audience that figure Holly might as well be dead, she’s been off the canvas for so long. It’s not like her being alive makes much of a difference in Port Charles. Holly really doesn’t have any more connections in town.
Her retconned con of a son, Ethan, is gone, so is Ethan’s father, her other love, Luke (Anthony Geary). Robert hasn’t mentioned her in ages. Heck, her being dead might have been what reminded him she used to be alive! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
