Ever since Jax returned to General Hospital, his love life has been a bit of a hot mess. Women came, women went, but nothing made fans swoon.

It’s time for a sweeping, epic romance with Jax being front and center. And here’s whom almost 2,000 fans picked for it to be:

Nina News

A winning 62% of you are sticking with Nina (Cynthia Watros) since that seems to be where the show is heading, albeit in fits and starts. You like the idea of Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina, you just wish it were a bit more compelling.

Could the writers write something compelling, please? At this point, even Nina finding her long-lost daughter would be something, although it wouldn’t really affect Jax much. If you want us to care about them, give fans something to care about!

New and Improved

Forget Nina, 30% of the audience urges. In fact, forget all the girls that Jax has loved before, and bring on someone new. She can be on the canvas currently, but not an old flame.

What about… Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)? The two actors did date in the 1990s. Or… uhm… Sasha (Sofia Mattsson)? Jax has proved he likes them tiny and brunette. How about Britt (Kelly Thibaud)? How about Epiphany (Sonya Eddy)? Really, anybody, as long as it’s not the same old same old again.

And then there’s Carly (Laura Wright). Good old Carly. Ex-wife, Carly. Mother of Joss (Eden McCoy), Carly. I just helped her lie about a suspicious death Carly. Only 8% want to go to this well again, but it is the path of least resistance.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) is off doing whatever noble criminal things he does, and Carly hates to be left alone and not worshiped on a daily basis. Enter Jax. They have a secret now.
