The truth is finally out on General Hospital! Anyone (who matters) now knows that Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad’s (Parry Shen) bundle of joy is really the baby Nelle (Chloe Lanier) gave birth to on the side of the road — and lied to Michael (Chad Duell) that he’d died.
Nelle knew. Brad knew. Lucas and Michael didn’t know. Neither did Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who thought little Wiley was the infant she’d given up for adoption. With the switch exposed, which character blew you away? What over 9,000 fans had to say:
A majority 60% felt the worst for Willow. The woman did nothing wrong. She did everything right. She made an adoption plan and placed her son with the couple she believed would give him the life she couldn’t.
She did what was best for Wiley and only comforted herself with the fact that she could still watch him grow up from afar. Instead, she was horrified to learn that her baby barely lived a day. And 60% of you were horrified right along with her.
It was super close but, literally, 16% of General Hospital fans voted for Lucas versus 15.9% for Michael — it’s like a Democratic primary in here!
Both men are definitely victims, though you could argue that Michael is gaining the son he thought he lost, while Lucas is not only losing his son… but likely his husband, too. Lucas may have been raised by the uber-forgiving Tony Jones, but even Tony had a breaking point, and it’s likely this one is Lucas’s.
The lowest number of votes, 8%, went to Carly (Laura Wright) — despite her being under the impression that this was somehow all about her, and that’s why she should be the one doing all the talking. The viewers were unimpressed and need her to take a seat. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
