On General Hospital, there are all kinds of Cassadines. There are the pure evil Cassadines, i.e. Mikkos (John Colicos), Helena (Constance Towers), and Stavros (Robert Kelker-Kelley).
General Hospital Polling
There are the everyone says they’re evil but they actually seem kind of ineffective Cassadines, i.e. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Victor (Thao Penghlis). There are the I am not as bad as my family Cassadines, i.e. Stefan (Stephen Nichols) and Nikolas (Marcus Coloma).
And then there’s Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). How does one summarize Spencer Cassadine? There is no single word. Though everything from delightful and unconventional to unbearable spoiled brat has come up in conversation. Are fans missing having Spencer in Port Charles? Here’s how over 2m000 voted:
Growing Up
A majority 84% of the audience is open to seeing Spencer again… as long as SORAS’d to Joss (Eden McCoy) and Cameron (William Lipton). His precocious little prince shtick was getting old, and the older he got, the less cute it got.
If GH wants to bring Spencer back older and — this is key — wiser, you’d welcome him to Port Charles teen scene. How would Jax (Ingo Rademacher) react to Joss taking up with a boy he once claimed as his own son -who is also Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) nephew.
And how will Cam compete with the quasi-cousin who has access to everything? Plus, Laura (Genie Francis) deserves some suffering for the hell she put her own mother through.
Spencer: Out Of Town Is Out Of Mind
A smaller 16% needs Spencer to keep his distance — at any age. He could only have become more spoiled and entitled away at boarding school and nobody needs to see that.
You’d rather see Joss with Sonny’s pet street urchin than with Spencer. And Cam doesn’t need to deal with his former “friend.” Everyone is better off without Spencer. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
