On General Hospital, what woman wouldn’t want the sociopathic, self-pitying, homicidal, lying, unloved stepchild of a morally repugnant family? The question is, what woman does Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) want? Or rather, what woman should he want? Here’s who almost 3,000 voted for:
None Of the Above
The dominant majority, 70% of you, don’t think Valentin deserves any woman – he should be in jail. We don’t know what crimes he committed before he slithered into Port Charles, but we know what he’s done since popping up.
There’s the whole stole Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) embryo and hatched Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) out of it. There are several deaths on his rap sheet. And he lied to Nina (Cynthia Watros) about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) being her daughter.
Oh, Valentin also likes to throw people off balconies, thought both Nikolas (Marcus Colombo) and Ava (Maura West) are still alive. Nonetheless, you want him locked up and the key thrown away. Not savoring in true love.
Then again, considering how obsessed he is with Nina, he might as well have her, 21% of the audience shrugs. He’s no worse than Franco (Roger Howarth), who came before. And he plays the piano. And sings. Usually to her. That’s kind of charming.
Maybe if Valentin felt secure in his relationship with Nina, he’d chill out and stop messing with people. It’s worth a try, no?
Remember when Valentin was obsessed with Anna (Finola Hughes)? Yeah, 9% of the fans still do. Valentin is certainly more intriguing than Finn (Michael Easton). And he has more than one facial expression.
Maybe if Valentin got Anna, he’d really calm down. He’d finally get over his whole, oh, woe is me, I used to be unattractive and Anna didn’t want me so I took her kid and gave him to Faison (Anders Hove). That would be nice.
