Those magical words have been uttered on General Hospital. What are those magical words, you might ask? The magical words are: Boarding school.

General Hospital Polling

Boarding school is that holy soap opera place where useless children are dispatched to until they can (hopefully) return more interesting. Which usually means older. And hotter. Dev (Ashton Arbab) already looks older than he’s supposed to be, and he’s pretty hot to the young crowd.

Now that boarding school has been floated as a possibility, are fans hoping he’ll stay or go? What over 3,000 told us:

A Purpose-Filled Life

Not yet, 73% plead. We still haven’t figured out the point of Dev. He must have a point, right? Or else why go through all the trouble of bringing him to Port Charles from Turkey and setting him up with a host of fake relatives?

Was he supposed to be a love interest for Joss (Eden McCoy)? Trina (Sydney Mikayla)? Cam (William Lipton)? You’re open to any possibility. Just please justify why you ever had to pay attention to him in the first place.

Good Riddance To Dev

A much smaller 14% are gleefully jumping up and down at the possibility of Dev being gone for good. Unlike those who gave The Powers That Be the benefit of the doubt and assumed they knew what they were doing when they brought Dev on, you are convinced they never had a clue. Dev can run along now. And never return.

Summer Loving

He can come back in the summer, 13% of the audience offers a compromise. That’s when teens rule the soap roost. He can strip down to a Speedo, sit by the pool… Basically look pretty and keep your mouth shut.

He can even run some errands for Sonny (Maurice Benard). Earn his keep. Then back to school, you go! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
