Many a nasty soul has passed through General Hospital over the years. But if you had to pick just one – dead or alive – to return to Port Charles, who would it be?

Sure, the town may seem overrun by villains at the moment but those would be child’s play against these tried-and-true evildoers. Here’s what 2,000 viewers told us:

Hail Helena

A winning 41% would like to welcome back the Cassadine matriarch – especially now that we know Helena (Constance Towers) is Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) mother. That’s a showdown you’re dying to see. Also, she needs to whip Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) into shape.

Heather Hell

A smaller 33% would like to see Heather (Robin Mattson). She throws Port Charles into turmoil whenever she shows up, going all the way back to the days when she was tripping on LSD she meant for someone else. Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) have been a bit too serene lately, don’t you think?

Too Little Cesar

Now that we’re down to splitting hairs, 11% of you miss Cesar (Anders Hove). He and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) have some unfinished business. So do he and Anna (Finola Hughes). Maybe he can put an end to this Peter (Wes Ramsey) thing, once and for all.

Oh, Livia!

An even smaller 6% of the audience voted for Olivia (Tonja Walker), the Jerome who takes her crazy evil heritage seriously. She’s got some pretty strong leftover feelings for Anna, too. What if she and Cesar teamed up?

Oh, Brother, Where Art Though?

If 5% of you can’t see more of Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), then you’d like a return of Ryan, please – hand or no hand. He’s got a past with Felicia (Kristina Wagner), with Ava (Maura West), with Laura (Genie Francis). Surely, that’s enough to give him a future, too.

Shiloh Sham

Finally, a last-place 4% would prefer a return for Shiloh. Maybe you should write that down on a piece of paper and stuff it into a box for Jason (Steve Burton) to steal? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
