Until now, you could only get General Hospital star James Patrick Stuart’s brand new CD, The Apple Tree, if you attended one of his personal appearances but there’s good news — the actor has it available for order and you can even get it autographed.
The handsome star shared on Instagram how you can be the proud owner of the new CD he created that pays tribute to his father, Chad Stuart, of the famous English musical duo Chad & Jeremy. Even better, proceeds from the sale are going to a special cause.
“The ‘Apple Tree’… Come climb a branch. Autographed CDs at JamesPatrickStuart.com with proceeds going to ALZ.org. #theappletreealbum,” he wrote alongside an image of himself holding the CD. It will cost just $20 plus $3.50 for shipping.
Stuart has been teasing his progress on this passion project for a while, posting frequent social media updates. With his appearances singing on General Hospital as a little preview, demand for this should hopefully raise a good deal of money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
On GH, Alzheimer’s has been front and center with how Mike (Max Gail) suffering from it has taken a toll on his son, Sonny (Maurice Benard), as well as the entire extended Corinthos family. The story has helped raise awareness of what caretakers, as well as those suffering, experience.
As for Stuart’s character on the show, Valentin, he looks like he could be headed for a fall on a couple of fronts. Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Hayden (Rebecca Budig) seem to be gunning for him on one side.
On the other is Michael (Chad Duell), who intends to take him down if he doesn’t get Nina (Cynthia Watros) to back off Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Who will get to him first? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
