Earlier this week, news broke that Kelly Thiebaud is returning to General Hospital and while fans of the Britch are thrilled, they certainly aren’t the only ones. Finola Hughes made it clear that Anna is also happy… and waiting.
Finola Hughes Reacts To Kelly Thiebaud News
It all started when Thiebaud noticed that her particular bit of casting information had spread all over the Internet. She took to Twitter to give her response, saying, “Wow word gets out quick in Port Charles! Thank you for welcoming The Britch back to GH.. Now, let’s have some fun!!”
Hughes jumped on her post, shared it, and added, “I’m waiting for you…..” in an ominous way, which would certainly be how Anna would react. Britt and Anna’s verbal sparring in Port Charles is always must-see viewing; something that fans can never get enough of. Having added Anna’s fiancé Finn (Michael Easton) has created even more fun.
The two had to deal with Britt during one of her last returns to General Hospital, as they needed her help in capturing Britt’s mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Well, now poor Dr. O is at The Hague, being tried for crimes that Britt’s nasty half-brother Peter (Wes Ramsey) committed. With Britt returning, will she be Team O or Team Peter?
After all, getting to know her “new” brother may be on Britt’s agenda. But unlike most of Port Charles (we’re talking to you, Maxie), Britt’s no fool, and may quickly see through Peter’s smarmy charm to realize there is something darker lurking beneath. Will she be the one to save her mother? Will she care to? You just never know with a character like the Britch.
And what about her bestie Brad (Parry Shen)? Last time Britt was in town, she cozied up to Julian (William deVry), realizing he may be the key to getting Brad sprung from his jail sentence. They had hot sex but then Julian blew it when he went postal after learning from Britt about Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Neil (Joe Flanigan).
So will Britt give Julian another chance? Will she find someone new instead? And what will she do about Anna’s “son” Peter, her half-brother? It looks like life is about to get a lot more interesting in Port Charles. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
I’m waiting for you….. https://t.co/665CHBsixP
