General Hospital News: Ashton Arbab, Eden McCoy Film Up For Awards

It was almost a year ago when Soap Hub told fans that General Hospital stars Ashton Arbab (Dev) and Eden McCoy (Joss) filmed a short together called Lit, and now Arbab has some great news to share about the film’s success on the festival circuit.

General Hospital Stars In Short Film

The young actor who joined GH last year revealed the great news about their short film on his social media account. He told his Twitter followers all about the awards it is up for now.

“So Excited! Our Psychological Thriller ‘LIT’ with @RealEdenMccoy has been chosen as a Semi Finalist at the Indie X Film Fest for Best Thriller Short, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Director, Best Original Screen Play👍Wish us Luck!” he wrote. Of course, Soap Hub joins their fans in wishing them all the luck in the world.

The short is a story about four kids who awaken in a warehouse after an afternoon excursion goes wrong. It involved a lit joint, which Arbab’s character, Brandon, was using to try to win the attention of a girl, Cassie (played by Alexis Jayde Burnett), whose brother recently passed.

As for their General Hospital characters, it looks like fans will finally get to see what’s going on with them and their good pals, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Cam (William Lipton), when new episodes hopefully return on August 3 (if all goes smoothly with their return to work). When last we saw the kids, it seemed like Dev was catching on to strange vibes between Cam and Trina.
