After giving it everything they had and then some, General Hospital is finally out of original episodes and today begins its first full week ever of GH reruns.
Do NOT Miss General Hospital
When the coronavirus pandemic first shut down soap opera production, GH made sure to have as much new content as possible by editing flashbacks into already-finished episodes, stretching out its stockpile until last Thursday.
As of today, we get three weeks of Nurses Balls — and then the rest remains a question. Will the soap return to production soon? Will we get other theme-weeks?
Either way, remember one thing your DVR does NOT do unless you tell it to — record reruns. Unless you have it set to record “ALL,” it will only give you first-run episodes and the DVR is very smart and knows whether a show is original or not.
So, GH cleverly put together a little video for social media with all your favorite PC pals watching TV to remind you to make sure your DVR records all these song and dance memories just in case you’re not around to watch it while it airs. (We know much of America is staying at home, but you may need to run an errand or even do something with your kids and settle down for GH at night.)
You’ll see Joss (Eden McCoy) and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) settling in for last year’s Nurses Ball, as well as Ned (Wally Kurth), Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Laura (Genie Francis), and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) all waiting to see who won the Port Charles mayoral election. So, while General Hospital may not be new, we still get the comfort of our soap friends, even if we’ve seen it all before. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
REMINDER: Make sure you don’t miss any #GH going forward – reset your DVR record settings to include “ALL EPISODES” of General Hospital. pic.twitter.com/xkwJLjpAmS
