General Hospital (GH) Recap: SHOCKER! Nina Did It!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, January 10 features the truth about Cassandra’s overdose coming to light in a shocking way.

The Tale Of Cassandra
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Finn (Michael Easton) nearly ended up in bed together, but her investigator skills took over at just the wrong moment when she noticed her clock on the floor and when it stopped on New Year’s Eve. She left Finn to confront Valentin about what happened and accused him of injecting Cassandra.

She was semi-satisfied with his answers and left, and then Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) both flashed back to that night and how Nina went to find Valentin at Anna’s but found Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) instead.

They struggled in a fight and the syringe ended up in Cassandra. Nina told Valentin and he removed the barely alive body from Anna’s house. Later, Valentin made it clear he really wanted the past behind him and deleted a photo of Claudette (Bree Williamson) from Cassandra’s computer.

Poor Finn
Meanwhile, Anna returned home and Finn had given up on romance and more after a talk with Jordan spooked him. Instead, he took Roxie and moved back to the Metro Court.

Maybe Anna shouldn’t have left right in the middle of a passionate moment.

Weird Visit
Franco (Roger Howarth) was suspicious when Ned’s real estate developer friend showed up wanting to buy his art studio and claiming he knew him as a kid because he used to date Betsy. There was something very strange about this visit indeed.

Campaign Corner
Laura (Genie Francis) announced her mayoral candidacy publicly but then learned Ned (Wally Kurth) was going to run, as well. They wished each other luck and said let the best man–or WOMAN–win. (Soap Hub is rooting for the woman.)
