The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 10 features Gabi using the weight of her successful company to get what she wants.
Work Friction
Gabi (Camila Banus) met Stefan (Tyler Christopher) at work and told him Gabi Chic wasn’t a done deal because she doesn’t know or trust him. He thought it was because of Chad and she let loose on him.
Furious, she let Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) know that she was going to Basic Black but Kate wooed her back. Andre was in touch with Vivian and it became obvious that Gabi Chic is an integral part of Viv and Andre’s master plan.
On The Offensive
Abby (Marci Miller) finally fessed up to Chad (Billy Flynn) about seeing his half-brother naked. Chad flew off the handle, but Abby talked him down and they enjoyed a roll in the hay.
Still angry, Chad hired John (Drake Hogestyn) to investigate Stefan while Abby opened the door to him wearing a towel. She asked him to never come to their personal space again, which of course intrigued him.
Thin Walls
Earlier, Vivian (Louise Sorel) told Andre she heard things went well with Kate but advised him to keep her on a short leash — just as she entered the room. But all seemed fine as she and Vivian sniped at each other. After Viv left, Kate admitted to Andre she almost trusts him.

A Pregnant Pause
Lani (Sal Stowers) was thrown to learn she’s pregnant. She confessed to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) about sleeping with someone else after she thought she saw JJ and Gabi had cheated. Kayla tried to get her to forgive herself and figure out what she wants.
Eli returned JJ’s gun to him and he told him to not go back to that dark place. Eli was obviously feeling guilty and tried to make sure JJ doesn’t give up on Lani just because Theo’s not doing well.
Health Crisis
Steve (Stephen Nichols) had another dizzy spell that affected his vision, but he didn’t confide in John (Drake Hogestyn) or Kayla about what is going on with him.
