General Hospital (GH) Recap: Nelle Gives Ava Her Marching Orders!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, May 9 features Nelle putting the screws to Ava to make sure she goes through with her plan against Carly.

An Unwilling Partner?
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) brought Ava (Maura West) a gift to bring to her shower, saying it will make Carly’s head explode. Ava was nervous about it but Nelle made it clear she had no choice if she wanted to protect her boyfriend.

Ava wanted to know the plan, but Brad (Parry Shen) interrupted. Nelle ended up inviting him to her shower. Once he was gone, Ava asked again, wanting to make sure Avery wouldn’t be caught in the crossfire.

When Nelle slipped about Carly being haunted, Ava wanted to know more about what she was doing. Nelle promised sole custody of Avery for her help.

Mother-Daughter Woes
Carly canceled her appointment with Kevin and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) then asked Carly to see some good in Nelle, since she and Michael may reconcile.

When Joss asked her to try for her sake, Carly “agreed” but her head was spinning.

Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Michael (Chad Duell) discussed Carly, but then Carly arrived, upset they were talking about her.

She apologized for blowing up and shared that she offered to help with Nelle’s shower. Alone, Sonny suggested they go to Puerto Rico after the shower and Carly agreed.

Father-Son Woes
Oscar (Garren Stitt) admitted to Drew (Billy Miller) he hurt his knee at rehearsals for The Nurses’ Ball, but that he didn’t want to miss their hike. He wanted to talk with Drew about he and Joss, and admitted they aren’t having sex yet.

He wished Drew could remember being his age to share what he did and encouraged Drew to get help getting those memories back.

Tangled Love Lives
Kim (Tamara Braun) worried about Oscar overdoing it on the hike, and Julian (William deVry) suggested she trust him to handle it. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) interrupted to update Kim about a pregnant patient, shutting out Julian.

When his father asked Lucas to let him know when the baby was born, he agreed. Later, Kim tried not to freak when Drew and a limping Oscar arrived. After, Drew called Andre to ask for help with his memories.
