General Hospital (GH) Recap: Jason Fights For His Life!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, August 30 features a dramatic day in Port Charles and carefree (sorta) day out of Port Charles.

Bullets Over Port Chuck
Jason (Billy Miller) took a bullet in his chest while trying to shield Sam (Kelly Monaco) and was not in good shape at all.

Sonny (Maurice Benard) quickly killed the man who shot Jason and eventually had to explain (again!) to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that he killed someone in self-defense cause that’s the story of Sonny and Dante’s lives.

Meanwhile, the ambulance finally arrived for Jason, and Sam rushed with him to the hospital to see what they’re up against.

All Is Well In Naxie Land
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) actually had a romantic reunion, but not before she threw a Maxie fit at Nathan and Amy, believing they were having an affair. When she saw the life-size Man Landers cut out, she was stunned.

Amy (Risa Dorken) and Nathan finally explained what was going on with her brother and why Nathan agreed to be the face of Man Landers. In the end, Maxie announced she’s back in town for good, and Nathan apologized for not being with her in Seattle. So, we guess all is settled with that little mess.

Janelle And The Jewels
Felicia (Kristina Wagner) got it wrong on the Nathan affair, but is she getting it wrong with Nelle (Chloe Lanier)?

Apparently, her name is actually Janelle, and she was once engaged to a rich young man who mysteriously drowned in a kayak accident. The man’s parents suspect she had something to do with it.

Over in Morocco, (Ja)Nelle admired a sapphire necklace for the photoshoot and tried it on. Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) spotted her with it and took some test shots with her modeling it–against her wishes because the girl really doe NOT want her picture taken.

Of course, a newly-happy Nina (Michelle Stafford), who by now had quite a night with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), was shocked to learn the necklace was missing by the end of the hour. Poor (Ja)Nelle (maybe).
