The General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, September 5 features an emotional day of loss and despair in Port Charles.
Is It Really The End?
Finn (Michael Easton) couldn’t believe his luck when Curtis (Donnell Turner) told him he found Hayden. But, he didn’t really find her. He only found the stuff she left behind–including her old passport and the book What To Expect When You’re Expecting–and a “Dear Finn” letter.
We saw Hayden (Rebecca Budig) writing the letter explaining that she wanted Finn to find someone worthy of him and then dropping the bomb that their baby had died.
Finn was devastated, but then we saw Hayden’s prominent baby bump as she rubbed her belly, as well as her new passport with the name Madison Ford. Something tells us Madison and a little visitor will eventually make their way back to Port Charles.
Those Dirty Diamonds
Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) was still determined to find where that diamond came from and somehow implicate Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). She even enlisted Andre (Anthony Montgomery) as her assistant.
A Way With Jewels
Over in Morocco, Valentin managed to come up with the ‘stolen’ sapphire necklace before anyone could blink. What a skill! Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was off the hook, and Nina (Michelle Stafford) decided she’d had enough bad luck on this photo shoot and called the whole thing off.
Griffin’s Pain
Back in Port Charles, Griffin’s (Matt Cohen) young patient died and he nearly fell apart. Ava (Maura West) wanted to help, but he refused to talk to her. After the hospital priest tried explaining Griffin’s feelings to Ava, she found him letting off steam at the boxing gym.
