The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, January 17 features one hour of Ava that took you inside her crazy little tortured mind.
All About Avery And Morgan
Ava (Maura West) prepared to go under the knife and have the last of her scars removed, but first asked Sonny (Maurice Benard) if she could see Avery. Of course, he wouldn’t let her near her daughter, and Ava had to live with that.
However, what went through her brain when under anesthesia was quite incredible. First, she kept seeing a young woman who looked awfully familiar all over town–but the woman kept disappearing. She also got several text messages telling her “I know who you are.”
The kicker came when Ava was sitting at home and Morgan (Bryan Craig) showed up at her door. He explained he’d been in a hospital, but survived the explosion and Ava wanted to debut him at the art gallery. If she could show everyone Morgan was alive, it would absolve her of all her sins.
Of course that went terribly awry as Morgan is dead and never showed and then everyone taunted her.
All About All The Bad She’s Done
Laura (Genie Francis) was furious she let Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) off the hook for killing Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) chastised her for switching Morgan’s pills, and even Nina (Michelle Stafford) laid into her for stealing Silas (Michael Easton) all those years ago.
Then, Connie Falconeri (Megan Ward) showed up all bloody and dead, and Ava had to confront the fact that she killed her in cold blood. Ava then told everyone they’re no better than her and picked out their sins, including Nina essentially ripping a baby from her womb.
But Always, All About Avery
Ava eventually learned the person following her was a grown Avery who knew exactly what her mother is. When Ava woke with a perfect face, she showed herself proud at the Metro Court. But, when she ordered her martini, the girl who looked like a grown Avery served it to her and said, “I know who you are, Ms. Jerome.”
