It’s been well over a year since Ryan Paevey was last seen as Nathan West but the actor — and his character — remain beloved by General Hospital fans. And if that weren’t enough reason to be excited, Paevey also has a very special event to keep him festive.
That’s because he was born on October 24, 1984, which means that this talented performer just turned the big 3-5! Before joining the cast of ABC’ lone daytime sudser, Paevey was a popular model and music video performer who was encouraged to try his hand at “real acting.”
He first appeared in a short film titled The Girl with the Gloves before filming the television movie 4 Dead Girls: The Soul Taker. Subsequently, Paevey appeared in four episodes of Hollywood Heights as a bartender and he guest-starred on the Jennifer Love Hewitt-led series The Client List.
Paevey made his General Hospital debut on December 30, 2015, and was almost immediately paired in a romance opposite Kirsten Storms’ character, Maxie Jones. The coupling was a fan favorite and it would eventually culminate in a heartfelt wedding ceremony.
While still performing his duties at GH, Paevey also starred in two made for television films that were broadcast on the Hallmark Channel – Unleashing Mr. Darcy and Harvest Love.
After making the decision to leave his daytime role, Paevey had to act out a death scene when the writers choose to have Nathan succumb to injuries he received in the line of duty.
Almost immediately after, Paevey was back in front of a camera. He reprised his title role in another Mr. Darcy film and starred in three further Hallmark offerings – Hope at Christmas, From Friend to Fiancé, and A Summer Romance.
Soap Hub would like to wish Ryan Paevey a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking on the Twitter link below. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
