Ryan Paevey is best known for playing late detective Nathan West on General Hospital, but the actor has appeared in other projects such as The Client List, Hollywood Heights, and Unleashing Mr. Darcy.

Who Is Ryan Paevey?
Paevey was born on September 24 in Santa Monica, California, but he was raised in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Les Vlieger and Linda Paevey and he has a younger sister named Kaitlyn. Paevey wasn’t necessarily interested in performing in high school, but he did run track and cross country.
Model Scout
Paevey’s initial dream wasn’t to become an actor, but he was scouted while he was in high school to start modeling. Though he first turned down the opportunity to model, he eventually decided to take a job and the rest is history. In fact, as a model, he worked with A-list celebs like Katy Perry and Cher.

While he was pursuing modeling, he was cast in Christina Aguilera’s music video for Your Body back in 2012. He was also cast as Robin Thicke’s body double for his music video, Sex Therapy.
Seeking Out Nature
Though he loves acting, Ryan Paevey is most at home when he’s outside, as he loves to travel, hike, and surf. In fact, he created his own brand called Fortune Wanderer where he sells custom prints of photographs from his travels. He also creates jewelry.
Loves His Bike
Along with enjoying hiking and surfing, Paevey is also very into motorcycles and he even has one that he named Lilith. Unfortunately, he suffered a motorcycle accident in 2015 that shattered his wrist, but it probably hasn’t stopped him from hopping on a bike again. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
