Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
The week of April 9, 2018
After a long absence, Robert Scorpio is finally back on the scene. Tristan Rogers resumes the role of the suave WSB agent on Friday, April 13. Rogers, who also portrays Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless, last appeared on General Hospital back in September of 2016.
At the time, Robert sought out to avenge the murder of Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). As for this go-round on the ABC soap, the actor will be part of a story arc involving Finola Hughes’ Anna.
Also on their way back to Port Charles is Brooklyn Rae Silzer, who plays Emma Scorpio-Drake. Silzer posted a photo of herself jumping for joy outside the show’s studio complex, along with a message that she was “so grateful to be back.”
Parry Shen is back for another appearance as Brad Cooper on Monday, April 9.
Hiram A. Murray pops up as Officer Tucker on Monday, April 9.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
