Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of November 19, 2018
Stella’s (Vernee Watson) long lost love will finally be materializing. Nigel Gibbs has been hired to play Marcus.

Gibbs has appeared on an array of primetime series. He portrayed Assistant Chief Roy Phillips on The Shield (2004-2008), APD Detective Tim Roberts on Breaking Bad (2009-2011), and Sandford Wells on House (2010-2011). He also had a two-day stint as Edward Craig on Days of Our Lives back in 2013.

Antoine Grant has been cast on GH. The young actor announced the news on Instagram; however, fell short of revealing exactly whom he’d be playing.

Rumor has it he is likely replacing Tequan Richmond as TJ Ashford. Richmond, who’s held the role since 2012, has landed a lead role on the BET primetime series Boomerang.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
