Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of April 16, 2018
Reports of Kin Shriner’s departure as Scott Baldwin have apparently been greatly exaggerated — by the actor himself of all people.

Shriner tweeted that he’d had “a good run” on the soap and would keep fans posted about his “new endeavors,” shocking viewers who assumed he’d been let go.

Turns out he wasn’t, and his tweets have since been removed.

Brooklyn Rae Silzer, who’s back for another stint as Emma Scorpio-Drake, will be featured in a sleuthing storyline with Finola Hughes (Anna). Namely, the quest to track down Henrik.

Greg Evigan wrapped up his stint as land developer Jim Harvey, the man who sexually abused Franco (Roger Howarth) as a child. Evigan had recurred in the role since December 2017.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
