General Hospital Comings and Goings: A PC Queen Of Mean Returns

 Comments

Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in con-tract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of December 18, 2017
Shari Belafonte is back for another run as Port Charles mayor Janice Lomax. She’ll be a part of Emme Rylan’s story, whose Lulu is out to prove she was involved in election corruption. Belafonte was last on the scene in March 2016.

Denise Alexander resurfaces in her old familiar role as Lesley Webber in time for her daughter Laura’s (Genie Francis) wedding to Kevin (Jon Lindstrom).

Anthony Montgomery is out as Dr. Andre Maddox. The psychiatrist responsible for the memory mapping that forever changed Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew’s (Billy Miller) lives was carted off to a federal prison on Friday, December 15. The character will be off the canvas for a while, but word is this isn’t the end of his run on GH.

Pressly James Crosby has taken over the role of Leo Falconeri, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and Julian’s (William deVry) son.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
