Jordan Ashford is alive and well and resurfacing in Port Charles, this week. Tanisha Harper is taking over the role of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) ex-wife and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow ) mother. The character, previously played by Vinessa Antoine and Briana Nicole Henry, was last seen in September of 2021 when she was sent to a medical clinic in Albany after a brush with death.
Harper, whose credits include Netflix’s Dear White People, Hulu’s Dollface, and HBO Max’s Hacks, as well as the feature Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The former model also made two appearances as a model on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2005 and 2010.

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) many decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please its viewers.
