 Comments

Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future? Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

The week of July 17, 2017
Michael Sutton is returning for a short stint as Stone Cates, Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) first love and the young man who was like a brother to Sonny (Maurice Benard), in August.

The character died of AIDS in 1995. Sutton last appeared on the soap in 2010 in a fantasy sequence.

Garren Stitt has taken over the role of Joselyn’s (Eden McCoy) new boy pal, Oscar. The part was originally portrayed by Rio Mangini. Stitt appeared on the Disney Channel series Andi Mack as Marty. He also played Connor in Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Dicky & Dawn.

Carly Schroeder briefly reprised her role as Scott’s (Kin Shriner) daughter, Serena, in tribute episodes to Peter Hansen, who played Lee Baldwin.
