Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
While searching the Haunted Star, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Laura (Genie Francis) chanced upon a gun-wielding Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck). The intrepid duo was able to disarm the madwoman and turn her over to the officers of the PCPD.
At the police station, Cassandra first tried to interest Laura in a team-up against Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and when her pleas fell on deaf ears she called the Cassadine Prince himself.
However, her threats of using Claudette — the surrogate who bore Charlotte — were mooted when Valentin revealed that she has flown Cassandra’s coop.
At GH, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) confessed the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth to Michael (Chad Duell). At first, Michael walked out on his girlfriend convinced that she was another lying liar who lies just like Nelle.
But Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was able to give him a new perspective on the situation. With newfound clarity, Michael tracked Sasha down and forgave her for her treachery and promised to help her tell Nina (Cynthia Watros) the truth.
Dranco (Roger Howarth) paid Kim (Tamara Braun) another visit and continued to insist that they belonged together. After Chase (Josh Swickard) removed Dranco’s ankle monitor the artist formerly known as Franco told Kim he was getting out of Dodge and he wanted her as his traveling companion.
Before he could leave, Kim pulled Dranco into a passionate kiss and they wound up making love. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) arrived and caught the two kissing so she delivered a searing slap to Kim’s left cheek.
After overhearing Dranco making plans to leave town, Elizabeth phoned Scotty and told him that the time had arrived to enact their plan. The legal eagle pulled some strings and just before Dranco and Kim could board a boat, two men in white coats waylaid them, injected Dranco with a sedative, and carried him away.
The first day of Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) trial commenced and his victims — Willow, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) — all took the stand and told the jury the abuse they suffered at the hands of the crazed guru.
Shiloh testified in his own defense and although he managed to cast aspersions on Sam’s character he was left looking a fool when the prosecution challenged him on his sexual assault charges.
With court adjourned for the day, Shiloh was escorted to the prison van but he managed to not only escape from his actual prison guard but the assassin that Peter (Wes Ramsey) had hired to assure his blackmailer’s death. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
