Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
Pledges
Threats of legal action, bodily injury and death left Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) with no option but to cooperate with Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) and he did so by revealing the location of the Dawn of Day pledges.
The investigative duo retrieved the documents and set fire to most of them save for Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) — who destroyed it herself upon receiving it from Sam — Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) — Jason personally returned hers — and D.A. Dawson’s (Elizabeth Henderickson), which Jason pocketed and gave to Sonny (Maurice Benard).
End of the Charade
With the dastardly Shiloh seemingly neutered of all power (and facing a long jail sentence) Jason and Sam decided to finally move back into the same home and resume living as husband and wife (although they are not married).
My Kingdom for a Kidney
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) awoke in the hospital and seemed to be on the mend following his brutal stabbing at the hands of lady love Ava (Maura West).
Curtis (Donnell L. Turner) arrived and demanded that the demented doctor submits to the kidney donation but Ryan used the organ as a bargaining chip. He would part with it but only if the charges against him are dropped.
An incredulous Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) refused to even entertain the proposal but a seething Curtis vowed to get his wife Ryan’s kidney no matter what.
LuLu’s Epiphany
Lulu (Emme Rylan) ran into Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) in front of the hospital elevator and despite knowing it was him she still had a visceral reaction.
They discussed her …continue reading on the next page —>
They discussed her still-lingering fear of him despite her continual efforts to see past his total resemblance to her attacker and to forgive him his role in Ryan’s spree.
Their conversation suddenly gave Lulu the clarity to truly fathom Dante’s plight for the first time since he left her, and she tearfully concluded that she understood what her husband is going through and the immense struggle he’s been facing.
Plea
Julian (William DeVry) was able to convince a reticent Ava to go along with Scotty’s (Kin Shriner) plan to plead “Not Guilty” at her arraignment by pointing out that going to prison while her daughters killer winds up in a cushy asylum is not seeing justice served.
Ava scoffed at Scotty’s suggestion they claim temporary insanity but she did declare herself “Not Guilty” when prompted by the judge to enter a plea. At least Margaux agreed she wasn’t a flight risk and the judge granted bail.
