Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on General Hospital.
Woman Overboard
Liesl (Kathleen Gati), lonely and depressed, took advantage of the open bar at Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) belated wedding reception. But the drinks soon to pile up and a completely bombed Liesl began to make a nuisance of herself. Franco took her aside and Liesl began to talk about a secret she is hiding about Brad (Parry Shen), Lucas (Ryan Carnes), and their baby.
A mysterious figure who had been listening to the conversation followed Liesl out onto the ship’s deck. When the lights were suddenly shut off, plunging the ship into darkness, the figure pounced and shoved Liesl over the chain railing and into the seawater below.
Hayden Returns
Liesl’s tumble into the drink wasn’t the only exciting thing to happen during the blackout. When the power was restored the assemblage was shocked to see Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig)!
Back on land, Finn (Michael Eastman) took Hayden to lunch to learn more about her reasons for returning. However, their meal was interrupted by Chase (Josh Swickard), who had arrived to collet Hayden for questioning in connection to Liesl’s fall. Later, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) presented Hayden to Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) as Crimson’s new CFO.
Last Will & Testament
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gathered Oscar’s loved ones at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) home to read his Last Will & Testament and to hand out his bequests.
To everyone’s horror, Oscar left his ELQ shares to Shiloh. The con man arrived to rub his good fortune in his enemies faces but Michael (Chad Duell) had the last laugh.
