Fresh Blood: Which General Hospital Couple Is Your Latest Favorite?

General Hospital fans love their classic couples and their vets, but, every once in a while, you need new blood. All the current favorite couples were once new.

Who would have thought Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (then-Sarah Brown) hate sex would lead to almost two decades of… whatever this is? Who expected Liz (Rebecca Herbst) to fall for a former serial killer? Or Laura to make rating history by marrying her own rapist?

You see our point. So, which of the newest Port Charles couples is your favorite? What almost 4,000 new and old viewers had to say:

To the Pax!
Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) gathered 46% of the vote. Why wouldn’t a widow fall for the guy partially responsible for her husband’s death? That’s totes, Port Charles. Maxie loved one of Faison’s sons, why shouldn’t she fall for another? They’re both attractive. Is anything else necessary to launch a super couple?

Then again, a slightly smaller number, 42% of you, voted for Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Kaylen McCullough). They’re both nice…for now. They’ve both made some terrible mistakes in judgment…in the past. They are also both pretty, which doesn’t hurt. And, for the moment, they have fewer obstacles in their path.

This group would rather cheer for the couple that has a chance – and doesn’t have Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Liesl (Kathleen Gatti) lurking on the sidelines… plotting who knows what to ruin things. Well, maybe they do have Nina.

Masha-Ble
In the last place, at 8%, went to Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). She’s conning Nina into thinking Sasha is her long-lost daughter, and he’s been conned into believing his baby with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) died.

So… they have something in common. That and sex. Not really enough to get fans to stand up and cheer — or watch.
