Five Fast Facts About General Hospital’s Ava Jerome

Ava Jerome is a study in contradictions on General Hospital… but she’s also incredibly dangerous.

Being the youngest sibling of those crazy Jeromes, Ava (Maura West) has been wrestling with her demons lately, wanting to be a better person but then hating when it doesn’t get her what she wants. Here are some facts you should know about her.

1. Art of the Deal
An art dealer, Ava is the only daughter of Victor Jerome with Delia Ryan — unlike her half-siblings Evan, Olivia, and Julian, who all have a different mother — and arrived in Port Charles back in 2013.

She embraced her infamous crime family, who were introduced to Port Charles in the late 1980s. But she also has a half-brother, John Ryan, via her mother.

2. Mommie Dearest Part I
Ava originally lured Kiki to Port Charles because she learned that Franco, who was first thought to be Kiki’s father, was revealed to be an heir to the Quartermaines and therefore his daughter would be, too… and Ava wanted to work that to her advantage. Later, it was revealed Kiki’s real father was Silas Clay.

3. All In The Family
After Kiki broke up with Morgan, Ava began bedding her daughter’s ex and they had a torrid affair for a while. Ava also bedded Morgan’s father, Sonny. When she became pregnant it was eventually revealed that Sonny had was the dad and not Morgan.

4. Bring ‘Em Back Alivet
Ava was shot by Carlos Rivera and fell off a bridge. She was believed dead but was in fact hidden away by Silas. Soon, he realized she had cancer and was going to die anyway and Ava asked him to euthanize her.

Instead, he kidnapped her infant daughter, Avery, and used her bone marrow to save Ava.

5. Double Trouble
Ava was determined to reunite with her daughters, so she posed as her own twin, Denise DeMuccio, complete with a dark wig. Morgan still found himself attracted to her, despite being back with Kiki.
