Jessica Tuck is currently best known for starring as Cassandra Pierce on General Hospital and Megan Gordon Harrison on One Life to Live, as well as Gillian Gray on Judging Amy and Nan Flanagan on True Blood.
Over the course of her career, Tuck has also appeared on television shows such as Designated Survivor, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, and many others. In The Beginning…
Tuck was born on February 19 in New York City, which is where she was raised. However, she attended a boarding school in Connecticut called Middlesex School. She then went to Yale University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology!
Television Debut
Tuck’s first television role was as Megan Gordon Harrison on One Life to Live. She was a regular cast member on the show for four years and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress.
Disney Movie Trilogy
Along with her work in television, Tuck has also appeared in a number of movies. In fact, she played Sharpay and Ryan Evans’s mother, Mrs. Evans, in the iconic Disney Channel movies High School Musical, High School Musical 2, and High School Musical 3. And, though it’s not a part of the trilogy, she returned to the role in Sharpay’s standalone film, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.
Reunited With Her “Half-Brother”
Tuck was cast in an episode of Castle in 2009, which starred Nathan Fillion, who just so happened to play her half-brother, Joey, on One Life to Live. They shared a mother, Viki Buchanan.
Getting Personal
Tuck married a South African businessman named Robbie Koseff and together they have a daughter named Samara Barnes Hallam, who was born on March 23, 2003.
