Fault Lines: Is Lulu Really To Blame For What Happened To Nathan On General Hospital?

Nathan is fighting for his life on General Hospital (GH) after getting shot by his (presumed) dear ol’ dad, Faison (Anders Hove).

He’s also under the care of Griffin (Matt Cohen), the guy whom he shot years ago, over a woman.

And if that’s not awkward enough, Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) current woman, his wife, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), has been told to avoid stress to keep from going into premature labor. Having a shot husband being operated on by a guy he once shot is pretty stressful.

So who is to blame for Maxie and Nathan’s current predicament? Could it be Lulu (Emme Rylan), who not only announced that she was now a reporter, but also that she would be bringing down Faison – something super-spy Anna (Finola Hughes) hasn’t been able to do… since the previous century. A staggering 18,000 fans pointed the finger:

GH viewers are not happy with Lulu, as 74% agree that yup, she’s to blame here. Where did Lulu get the idea that she could take on an international super-villain all on her own?

Sure, her mom and dad stopped both a mobster (before mobsters were the heroes of Port Charles) and an evil weather machine. But that was the 1980s. Things were different in the 1980s. And, oh, Lulu Spencer is no Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis)….

Lulu was on the side of the angels, argue 25% of you. This mess could and should all be laid at Liesl’s (Kathleen Gatti) doorstep. First, for getting involved with a nutso, coo-coo like Faison. Then for having his son – and hiding Nathan from him. (Not the hiding part, the hiding was sensible, under the circumstances).

And, finally, the part where she let Nathan find out about Faison – and vice-versa. Did she really think Faison would be able to stay away?
