Scott Baldwin has been coming and going from the General Hospital (GH) canvas since the 1960s. Before Kin Shriner made the role his own in 1977, Scotty was also played by the curly redheaded kid from Family Affair.
An adult Scott fell in love with Laura (Genie Francis), much to the dismay of Bobbie (Jaclyn Zeman). Bobbie brought her brother, Luke (Anthony Geary), to Port Charles to break up Laura and Scotty. We all know how that ended.
Scotty was also involved with Heather (Robin Mattson). Though now, with the addition of Franco (Roger Howarth), it turns out Scott slept with Heather before he ever met her. Try not to think about it too hard.
The point is, Scott has rotten luck with women, and over 4,000 of you had some suggestions regarding how he might change that.
Ava Rave-a
Scott and Ava (Maura West) have a connection. Almost like they’ve met before in another life. Or, at least, another town. Somewhere in the Midwest, perhaps? In any case, 74% of you see them as the perfect match.
Both are unapologetic schemers, who actually enjoy being bad, rather than beating their breasts and pretending to suffer — then doing it anyway. The only problem would seem to be that Ava was once involved with Scott’s son, Franco. But, hey, it’s a soap….

Other Side Of Town
During GH’s heyday, Scott and Monica (Leslie Charleson) were involved in completely different storylines. Scott had the Luke and Laura thing going on, and Monica was busy lying to her husband, Alan (Stuart Damon), about her affair with Rick.
Time for the twain to meet, suggest 17% of the audience. The fact that they share a step-mom, Gail, shouldn’t be a problem.
Not Again
Only 7% are willing to watch Scott give Laura another shot. The woman has broken Scott’s heart enough times. That ship has sailed, and there’s no use swimming out after it.
