Fans Miss THIS General Hospital Character Most Of All – Do You Agree?

Tracy (Jane Elliot) bidding Port Charles farewell this week reminded General Hospital fans of all the other faves who’ve departed recently. But which one was the saddest? Almost 3000 viewers put down their Kleenex long enough weigh in:

Death Not Be Proud
Departures are particularly sad when you know there’s no chance of a return appearance. (Like death is ever really, really final on a soap, but let’s pretend for a minute.)

When Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) died, 37% of you felt as crushed as Michael (Chad Duell). And not nearly as ready to move on with Nelle (Chloe Lanier).

Final Exit
When Anthony Geary (Luke) announced that’s it, he was retired and never, ever coming back to GH, 29% of viewers shed bitter tears.

But he’s already popped back in as part of Tracy’s exit story. Obviously, never is a much shorter time these days than it used to be.

Guten Morgan
Considering that she’s married to a mob boss, it’s amazing Carly (Laura Wright) only lost her first child to violence now. Morgan’s presumed death prompted 19% of the audience to gnash their teeth and throw bar-ware – just like Papa Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Nik-Knack
He’s died before, but that didn’t keep 8% of you from missing Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) yet again. Of course, if past precedent is any indication, it won’t be for long….

The Sounds of Silas
First he was John McCain, then he was Silas, now he’s Dr. Finn. Michael Easton is never gone long enough to miss, but 2% are still mourning the guy in the middle.

And the Rest
Tracy was the big winner in the write-in category, followed by folks who most certainly didn’t depart recently, namely Stone, Emily (not Rebecca, though), BJ (just having her heart beat on in Maxie clearly isn’t enough) and Lila. Soap fans have long memories! Sometimes even longer than many soap-writers!
