The General Hospital recap (GH) for Tuesday, August 7 features Nelle taking her secret with her to…wherever she goes next. Ferncliff, perhaps?
The Final Showdown
It couldn’t be the end of Nelle (Chloe Lanier) without a final showdown with Carly (Laura Wright) and that’s exactly what we got. As Carly told Nelle at least when she set out to ruin people’s lives, she succeeded, Nelle had an all-knowing look on her face.
Despite the cops and DA having her dead to rights, she and Brad (Parry Shen) are the only ones who know her baby survived and is right under everyone’s noses. And it doesn’t look like Brad is going to spill anytime soon.
Nelle was infuriated when she saw that the baby blanket suddenly showed up, and knew at least Carly would go free… but she’d go free thinking her grandson died, so at least she’s causing more pain.
Carly was just relieved to learn she might have to spend only one night in lockup (maybe even in adjoining cells with Jason) while her legal questions are settled.
Nelle did have one last scene with Michael (Chad Duell) in which she spewed more venom just as expected.
Kiki’s Case
In non-Nelle news (there was some, really), Kiki (Hayley Erin) prepared for her court case to begin, but of course, continued to lie to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Meanwhile, Scotty (Kin Shriner) did his best to convince Bensch (James DePaiva) to settle the case because he knows what might happen on the stand.
Ava’s Fooled
He then tried to vaguely warn Ava (Maura West) anything could go wrong, but she was too happy to comprehend what he was saying since Griffin (Matt Cohen) professed his undying love earlier.
Griffin also told Kiki he has to tell Ava he did something bad, but he’s willing to leave her name out of it. Oh, the guilt of an ex-priest.
